Imagine you are the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of a local healthcare facility and plan to implement Electronic Health Records (EHR). Beside successful implementation, its effective application by the users (doctors, nurses, administrators, office staff) is critical to your organization.

Which style of leadership (Transactional, Transformational, Autocratic, Democratic, Laisses-fair) would you adopt to achieve both these goals? What this style of leadership entails and what are its pros and cons? Why do you think this is the most appropriate style?  Is this style only palpable to EHR implementation or could be replicated in other similar projects in the organization and why?
