GCU Wk 1 Patient Care Education Support and Reinforcement Discussion Responses

The nurse focuses on patient care, education, support and reinforcement. The doctor must focus on ways to cure the diagnosis. The doctors look at labs, and the overall of the person and the disease. The doctor looks at past medical history of the patient. The example of sepsis the doctor will give fluids. If the patient has a history of CHF, fluids cannot be too much. The nurse must make sure the patient does not go into fluid overload.
